1. What discounts are available at BooksDirect?
In general the new member discounts or new member offers vary by site - such as Mango offers '5 books for £5' as an introductory offer and Home Software World offers '3 CD Roms from £2.99 each'. Postage and Packaging is normally extra unless otherwise states on the sites.

Furthermore the new member offers are updated frequently - meaning the offers and products are refreshed in line with the latest best-sellers and releases available in the market place.

A New Member means a completed (i.e. once confirmation page is displayed) online application on one of BCA's new member recruitment sites for membership of a BCA club from visitors who arrived on BCA's new member recruitment site directly from the Media Owner's site and excludes applications rejected by BCA's screening process (e.g. duplicate users, those which are not UK based, those where registration fields have not been completed satisfactorily)

6. Do all book club applications become New Members?
We reserve the right not to process all book club applications. Typical reasons for rejection of book club applications include:

Not resident in the UK
Past history based on BooksDirect's internal information
Information received from external Credit Reference Agencies

7. Do I send money with my book club application?
No. The book club applications are process firstly, following acceptance you are then sent your introductory parcel - if you are happy with your books and software, you can then pay the invoice.

Alternatively should you wish to return your parcel, you may do so, we will cancel your membership and you will owe us nothing.

8. What is the '10 Day Free Home Trial'?
All book club applications come with a '10 Day Free Home Trial' meaning that you can examine your books and software at your own ease at home. If you like what you see, you then pay. Alternatively should you wish to return your parcel, you may do so, we will cancel your membership and you will owe us nothing.
